The Chicago Cultural Center is an architecturally elaborate city landmark that features art and welcomes the public, city officials, and high-ranking dignitaries. Open for free to the public the Center features complex mosaics on walls and its many spiraling staircases. The Center also has many great rotating art exhibitions that highlight local and international artists. One of the main rooms for public forums and announcements has a large and impressive stained-glass Tiffany dome, which has recently undergone a major restoration. Since the Center is located so close to my work I hope to explore it's many exhibitions coming up, including the Chicago Architecture Biennial.
