Tom & Catherine's Wedding - Part 2

Last week I wrote about the fun time I had at my friends' Tom and Catherine's wedding in Richmond, VA. This week I wanted to write about the historic hotel I stayed in as well as the wedding brunch that was held the morning after on New Year's day. The Linden Row Inn is a hotel that was comprised of several attached row houses that was eventually turned into a hotel. I stayed in a small detached room on the backside of the main row house structure.

The breakfast reception was held at a restaurant called Pasture that was within walking distance from my hotel. Pasture was perfect for a hearty brunch after a late night of dancing. My friends Ryan and Samantha both gave excellent speeches to Tom and Catherine. Ryan reminisced about funny and embarrassing moments we shared with Tom in high school. I had a really wonderful time in Richmond with my friends and celebrating Tom and Catherine. It was definitely a remarkable way to kick off the new year that I'll remember for a long time to come.

Tom & Catherine's Wedding - Part 1

For New Year's I was very lucky to attend the wedding of my friends Tom and Catherine. The ceremony and reception were held in Richmond, VA at the historic Bolling Haxall House, which is home to The Women's Club. I stayed a block away at the Linden Row Inn, which made it convenient to get to the wedding. I lucky to be tucked into a quaint bedroom on the backside of the historic hotel. Bolling Haxall House was an old Victorian home with wonderful architectural details and it also had a venue hall where the wedding took place. It was really awesome to kick-off the new year with Tom and Catherine, some very good friends, and a spectacular brass band called No BS!. I had a really good time that night and you'll be able to check out my photos of the follwing morning in next week's blog.

More importantly, can you make a smux face?
