Crown Point is a beautiful vantage point of the Columbia gorge and it's only about an hour away from Portland. The cliff features an amazing historical observatory called, Vista House. The views were amazing and John and I were lucky to have the sun present when we made out stop. The observatory was built in 1918 and features a balcony that wrapped around the entire building. I especially loved the stain glass windows on the inside.
