Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall
The famous "Portland" sign and marquee that punctuates the city's streetscape is conjoined to the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. Having worked with the Oregon Symphony for close to one year (whoo!) I feel especially honored and privileged to be able to work and enjoy such an iconic and historic place. Recently, I got to check out the backstage area of the 'Schnitz' for the special rehearsal of singer and performer Ben Folds. The hall looked great lit up in colored lights with a full stage of musicians. I am definitely looking forward to enjoying more concerts in the future and glad to be able to be a part of the action that helps the Symphony get on stage.
