Portland Baroque Orchestra

The Portland Baroque Orchestra is an interesting ensemble that I saw perform at the First Baptist Church a couple weeks ago. I've never heard Baroque music performed live before and it was quite a treat. The night featured two amazing sopranos and some very unusual instruments including a harpsichord and a theorbo. For an echo of historical music I would definitely recommend listening to some Baroque to be transported to a time of intricate arrangements and melodic tunes.
