100!

I'm proud to say that this blog is my one hundredth blog for my website! I used to run my site through a different platform (pff--Apple), which was discontinued, and now I'm happy to present my 'fancy' discoveries and adventures through Wix.com.

I haven't really mentioned it, but I am modestly proud of my explorations and recordings of the past couples of years present here on my blog. It's been great to be able to share my experiences with my husband, friends, family, and with you (whoever reads this). And there will be plenty more fancy things to come. I'm getting ready for a couple of trips, I will be writing about some interesting films about art and artists, and many more happenings and places about Portland and Oregon.

Summertime Update

I'd like to take the time with a blog entry to address the updates I've made recently with my website.  I've added four sections in my Paper (mixed media) page that cover fours years.  I've also added additional personal photo albums from many trips I've taken over the years.

It's been great having a website to articulate the many beautiful and fancy things that I discover in the world.  I am so grateful for the support and encouragement of my friends and family.

New Year - New THINGS

It's been a while since I've been able to blog so I'm so thrilled that I figured it out.  I've had lots of great experiences, ideas, and things I'd love to share to anyone who is willing to give me the time!

First of all, I'd like to thank all of my friends and family who have been so incredibly supportive for my artistic endeavors!  As most people who see me at my day job(s), I've been running around between the New-York Historical Society and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Not much time to really create anything, but now with this blog I can keep more focused on at least thinking about art!

2013 will be a good time for me to show you all the great trips, art experiences, and inspirational occurrences that happened in 2012.  And I'm sure I'll have plenty to share from the new year too!
