Cuckoo Clock

Last week I was at the Portland International Airport (PDX) and was lucky enough to see America's tallest free-standing cuckoo clock. Hand carved and local made, the sculpture/clock is a promotional icon produced by Travel Portland. Featuring Portlandia, a poetry reading Sasquatch, and figures cheering all the bounties of the land, the iconic Portland sign sits on top and has been slightly adjusted to say 'Portland is Happening Now'. The local carver Nicholas Gros, has also done his carvings at a local brewery.
